Stamp Camp

Some more projects from Creative Inkers Stamp Camp;
This project was taught to us by the lovely Narelle Hoggard. Loving that Bouquet Bigz die (pg 30 Occasions Mini)
The Berry Basket was given to those of us at the Leadership meeting. Made by our awesome leader, Jacque Williams. The basket is covered in Something Borrowed DSP and adorned with the Butterfly from Butterflies Thinlits.
Our project taught by Jacque Williams. What an awesome gift made from the little school notebooks that are so cheap right now. I changed mine a little in that Jacque's project had two nbutterflies cut out and stacked on top of one another. For mine I lay the die on top of the two pieces of card and just cut through the top butterfly so that the bottom piec of card pushed up slightly into the spaces, giving a two tone effect. The little flower in the centre is from the Artisan Embellishment kit (pg 27 of Occasions Mini).

I am putting through an order on Wednesday March 4th so if there is anything you would like to order either put in an online order through my "shop now" button or email me:)

Ooops, almost forgot

Almost forgot to show you my Stamp Camp swap.
This little basket was made with the "Top Note" die and the Big Shot  as well as the new ""square lattice" embossing folder. Inside is a small Cadbury Chocolate bar.
Email me if you would like to book a class to learn how to make these.

Stamp Camp

Well Stamp Camp was amazing. A lot of fun. For those of you who don't know, it was held in Rotorua from Fri 4 to Sunday 6 Feb for demonstrators in the "Creative Inkers" team under Jacque Pederson. We stayed at Keswick Christian camp and slept on bunks but we had the whole site to ourselves so plenty of bottom bunks to go around. We had our food cooked for us but had small chores (such as table setting, dishing out food crinsing dishes and mopping out the dining room) to do each day but nothing too arduous.

We had several delicious projects taught to us by some very talented demonstrators (Jacque Pedersen, Rachael Knight, Paula Dobson, Vicky-Lee Mueller and Delys Cram). Our theme was the Summer mini catalogue and Sale-a-bration reward stamp sets

There were about 30+ demos attending and this is the table Sue and I sat at with Rebecca, Debbie and Sally. I was taking the photo but don't know where Sue was when I took this.

Some of the lovely projects we were taught...

This lovely gable box (that I filled with miniature toiletries and then dropped, munting the corner... forgive me Paula!) and matching little going away card taught by Paula Dobson

This gorgeous card taught by Jacque Pedersen. We used "Presto Patterns" card stock with Cherry Cobbler ink sponged over to reveal the pattern (in this case script) . The stamp was from "Easter Bossoms". Both the stamp set and Presto papers are available until 31 March in the Summer mini catalogue.

All the contents.
This amazing stationery set was taught by Rachael Knight.

Two other fabulous projects were taught but I have not yet completed them but you can check them out at vicky-Lee Mueller and Delys Cram

Stamp Camp

I can't believe I have been home from Stamp Camp for almost a week! It was really great, lots of fun and so good to catch up with some friends I only get to see at these occasions and to meet lots of new people who will very likely become good friends also.I had meant to blog it some days ago but...you know how life gets in the way?. It's just that now that I am job sharing in my teacher role, I have to plan and prepare the lessons for the week and it's taking me some time to get back into the swing of things. Also birthdays, bereavements, and celebrations call for my card making expertise and well... that's what I like to do.
Anyway...I promise, I will post some pikkies and some more info very soon but got a few things on today.
