baby card

My lovely nextdoor neighbours have just had their second child. A gorgeous little girl called Madeleine. This is the card I made for them:
I borrowed the punch art idea (with a few little changes) from  Juliana from Australia.

Sail Away

I CASED this card from Michelle Zindorf. I added a sun/moon (can't decide. He he). I like the way the brayer sometimes gives you unexpected results such as the right hand side of the boat on the horizon looks a little like buildings in the distance. This card uses the brayer technique as awell as the reflection technique.

Motorbike cards

These cards I designed for a recent Card Club night. The first is made with Poppy Parade cardstock and the "metal" was a foil seal from a drinking cxhocolate tin, embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder.

The second card was I designed using tin foil over card and embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder. How amazing is this folder eh? If you want to order a Square Lattice embossing folder, email me. The cost is $19.50 plus 5% p&p.

Butterfly easel card

I first saw this idea designed by Bronwyn Eastley (click for her tutorial) and tried one for myself. Very easy to make with the Big Shot and the Beautiful Butterflies Bigs Die. I used the Square lattice embossing folder for a faux fabric look. Doesn't the Antique Brad just set it off?

Hey. I'm back!

Actually, I haven't been anywhere but I am back to posting. he he.
Ok. I promise that I will blog more regularly. In fact I have several new card designs to share with you and will do so over the next few days:)
Here's the first-(from my recent Punch Art class)

This was (slightly) adapted from a card by Leanne Greff who in turn got it from Kim Score. I made it up as a bag instead of a card.

And this one was also adapted from a card by Kim Score.  I added a little oink tummy (because dogs have a little pink tummy don't they? he he)
The pic came out quite pale but it says "get well soon". Poor little doggy looks quite unwell eh? Awww!
