Bunny in blanket

Anabel showed me how to use the "Circle Scissors" to make an interlocking envelope (ask me if you want me to demo) and I used that idea to make a "blanket" for my bunny. The bunny is attached to a drinking chocolate sachet. I made some of these for my card making buddies at work for Easter.

The blanket is made by measuring the dimentions of the sachet, scoring a rectangle on the card stock to fit, then using the "circle scissors" to cut half circles all round to fit on the ends of the rectangle edges. Then you just fold the bottom and the two sides in. I am happy to demo this any time. Just ask:)

Easter

With Easter coming up I thought I should have a go at punching out an Easter Bunny. This is not my own original idea but one similar to others I have seen posted on the internet. I used; 1 &3/4" circle (from Summer mini) for head and body,large oval and small oval for ears and feet, 1/2" circle for cheeks. Eyes were made by stamping the end of an eraser ended pencil in basic black ink. (Please note, the waterproof inks (with Basic in the title) need a little time to dry). Once dry I made the white of the eye with the signo white gel pen. I draw the whiskers and toenails with basic black marker pen. card stock- whisper white and pretty in pink.
