My friend Deirdre turns 50 this month and this is the card I made her using our gorgeous new DSP "Cottage Wall" as well as the new "xtra large 2-step bird punch". (Did you notice the "pebbles"?)

My altered tin project
Wanted to share a little project I made for a friend for Christmas.
The tin was sold with "jelly snakes" inside but I saw it and knew immediately how I could "recycle" it.
I decorated the tin using "Urban Garden" designer paper Pg 132 and "Kiwi Kiss" striped grosgrain ribbon p150. Iuseed the "eyelet broder" punch p152 to create a fancy edge.
The rosette *was made with 1" double stitched "baja Breeze" ribbon. p150 . ^^ note that 1"choc chip and rose red double stitched ribbon is discounted to $17.63 in the inventory sale but only till 24 Jan.
To make a rosette, cut off about 8 inches od double stiched ribbon
and simply pull the white stitching from both ends of one side to gather up one edge. Tie the ends tightly and finish off with a brad, pearl, button or similar in the centre. (In the this case I was luck to have some corduroy brads left over from a previous mini catalogue. I pushed the brad through the ribbon to secure but you could secure with a large glue dot p154
I then printed off several cocktail recipes, with illustrations on to very vanilla card backed with choc chip and adhered a punched tag pg152 (colour co-ordinated to the main ingredient) to each one.
Please leave a comment and tell me what your favourite SU designer series paper is.
