Here are another couple of cards showcasing the Faux Mother of Pearl tecnhnique:
You can make out the effect of the Mother of Pearl at the top of the card, (just the way the light hits it I guess). This card I CASED from Dayanna Donng . Her photography is way better than mine:)
This one was taught to Demonstrators via our SU demo Impressions magazine.

Happy Mother's Day
Hiya
Here are the cards we made at my Mother's Day card class:
This is one of our Mother's Day cards with the sentiment changed to make it a birthday card:) Do you like how I've done the little crinkled flowers?
Here are the cards we made at my Mother's Day card class:
Unfortunately, it's hard to make out the "mother of pearl" technique used on the panel on the right:(

Family stuff
This a photo of me with my great nephew, Hayden, aged 17. It was taken on ANZAC day (my great niece, Paige's birthday) and he had just come off parade in his Sea Scout uniform.
For Paige's birthday (13th) I gave her a voucher for her favourite store, Supre, and I covered a Stampin' Up! On Board Journal (Pg 135 of main catalogue). I sewed ribbon onto elastic to make a band so she could keep things inside and not have them fall out.
