Birthday card and Bag-a-Lope

This card was inspired by a card made by Jacque Williams. I made mine using the "bubble wrap" technique. The Bag-a-Lope is a little treat bag made from a Stampin' Up! envelope also made using the bubble wrap technique. My base card and ink used were River Rock which is sadly retiring at the end of this month.

Just as a little reminder, these colours are retiring at the end of this month, therefore the corresponding card, inks, markers will no longer be available after 30 June.

Birthday card

This is a birthday I designed recently for my Stamp club/class using Melon Mambo and Midnight Muse colours. The frame was embossed using the Designer Frames emboss folder, then lightly songed to highlight. Aren't those Bitty Butterflies cute?

More cards

This is card class I did for my Parnell Community class and also for my club classes. I have used River Rock cardstock as the base and matted with Concord Crush and Bashful Blue. Birthday Card

This is a card I made today for a friend who loves cocktails.

The "glass" was made using Stampin' Up! Cardstock vellum. The main colour is "Kiwi Kiss". The background DSP is from the Simply Scrappin' kit "Hoppy Memories"

The card was inspired by a swap from Julia Leece and the cocktail recipe "Midori Splice"

TEENAGE BOY

If you are anything like me, you struggle when it comes to making masculine cards. Whenever I have a block. I google something like stampin Up boy cards (for instance) and it's amazing what ideas you can from other stampers. This card I made for a teenage boy called James (Hence the swinging J). I adapted an idea I got from Beate Johns

I used taken with teal and chocolate chip card with a little bit of DSP (designer paper) from Urban Garden (pg 132) and vintage brads (pg 149). The star was made with the smaller star (no 21 pg 152) punched out of the large star (no 20 pg 152)
