Ok I'm Back

Happy New Year everyone. I hope you've all had a nice break (despite the weather).

I am having a class next week for anyone (including newcomers) who would like to attend. The class is suitable for beginners to advanced crafters).This is extra to club classes which will start back again next month.


The class is to make the  desk calendar above and is on Tuesday 17th January at my place (email for details) at 7pm. It will cost $15. All materials provided (but please bring your own Snips and adhesive if you have them)

Dasher Christmas card

Here is a pic of one of the cards I have taught recently. I have embossed the Medalion background and dasher  images with silver embossing powder and the colours I have used are Basic Gray and Cherry Cobbler. The high light circle was cut using the Perfect Pennants die cut and the Big Shot.

I won the "wow"

I was priviedged to be able to attend Jacque's first line team meeting in place of Anabel who has recently had a major back operation. She is doing well:)
As is often the case with these sessions, we all made swaps and mine was voted the one with the most "wow".
I managed to take a few photos as my camera faded into the twilight zone so some are ok and some are not so good. I am waititng for Labour weekend specials? to buy another.
Anyway here is my swap card;

I used the bleach technique to take the colour out where the snowmen would be snowy white.
The stamp is from the Holiday Lineup stamp set. I am just loving the white organza ribbon:)
