Some new cards

Gosh, I have been neglecting my blog, sorry. Will try to do better:)

 This one was commissioned by my sister to give to the very nice man who went out of his way to give extra special service when he put together the shelving for her shop. I used the "Totally Tools" stamp set which I embossed in silver and attached to corks cut out with the "Top Note" die and the Big Shot.

This one I made for Anabel's birthday. The top right corner is cut away and folded back behind the square. I was shown this idea by the lovely ladies at Pinesong craft group. Not sure whether it might have looked better upside down?

I'm still here

Hi everyone, Thanks for your patience. It seems like ages since I posted and I never wanted to let my blog get tired.. Anyway, some of you will know but I have been really busy helping my sister in her new enterprise. She has today opened the doors of her new gluten-free and organics business in Hammond Place Birkenhead. It has been, and continues to be, a huge learning curve (for the whole family) but a lot of fun.

We had a steady stream of customers today and I can state that it was a successful day (especially since we had no advertising).

I hope to get back to my blog updates and load the new catalgue for viewing.

25th Wedding Anniversary

I  made this swing card (in the scallop circle style of the previous post) for Sue and Craig who celebrated 25 years of blissful marriage last week. What an achievement!!

And Craig asked me to make one for him to give to Sue;

Stamp Club Night

I taught these cards to my Stamp Club on Tuesday and will teach them again to my regular club on Saturday (sorry full up).

If you are interested in joining a stamp club, or regular monthly classes please email me for details. A new stamp club will be starting in October but if there is enough demand, I can start another one in September. If you prefer to just attend on a casual basis please let me know what you are interested in learning and what days/nights you prefer and I will organise something to suit.
